Music Ministry

At Calvary Community Church it is our desire to utilize the talents that God has gifted you with to edify the body of Christ and to sing worshipful praise to the glory of His name. We are committed to making sure that we have men and women who love and follow Jesus, serve one another, and maintain a level of excellence not only in musical skill but dedication to God, thus ensuring that those participating have a heart as exampled by our Lord. We are here to equip, build and assist you in fulfilling your ministry and His calling.
I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul will make its boast in the Lord; the humble will hear it and rejoice. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. (Psalm 34:1-3)

Marybeth Diangelo
Mary Beth Diangelo, grew up in East Orange, NJ in a musical family (9 siblings) that traveled around and performed musical Theatre under the name, “Yates Musical Theatre.” In 2000, she gave her life to Jesus at a revival meeting at a church and has praised Him ever since in song.
Her music ministry began from visiting her Dad in the nursing home when he suffered from dementia in his final years. Bringing my 2 dogs to visit him, it would take me so long to get to his room as so many people wanted to visit with my dogs as well. I decided that once my father had gone to be with the Lord, I would continue visiting with my dogs, as there are so many lonely people in nursing homes. He gave me a heart and love for the older generation. Therefore, I had both dogs certified as therapy dogs and my visits continued at a local nursing home. Soon after I joined the nursing home ministry at church and we would do personal visits which included worship music, a bible reading, teaching and prayer.
It has been a tremendous blessing to utilize the gift of music to praise our awesome God and Savior, and to encourage others to join me in worship!
Marybeth has two Pomeranian dogs named Niko and Nina and loves to take nature walks with them reveling in God’s glory! She also records music, both original and Hymns, and has recently released her first album called, “Proclaim That Name – Hymns Afresh!”
…and the singers were to make themselves heard with one voice to praise and to glorify the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice accompanied by trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and when they praised the LORD saying, “He indeed is good for His lovingkindness is everlasting,” then the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God. (2 Chronicles 5:13-14)
O come, let us sing for joy to the Lord, let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God and a great King above all gods. (Psalm 95:1-3)
“Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.” (Psalm 148:12,13)
